This was the result of a fascinating walk through the Cotehele Estate. It was an idyllic sunny afternoon with the larks swooping over the wheat  against the background of ancient stone field enclosures on the distant hills.

Inspired by trips to the Cornish coast.,travelling on the long and  meandering lanes that lead there. The tantalising glimpses as you crest a hill or round a corner and the cries of "are we nearly there yet" from the back seat.
